The Clarksville economic engine is running well – hitting on all cylinders! Hankook, LG, Google – it’s not just a list of global leaders – it’s a roll call of new Clarksville employers.
And as a former small business owner, Kim knows that the economic engine runs on a healthy blend of high profile, ribbon cutting job announcements AND a day-by-day, practical commitment to existing businesses, large and small. Yes, Clarksville IS America’s best place to live, work, and raise our families because we have good economic opportunities.
Quality of Life
Our city is a place where our police and fire professionals believe with their lives that it’s an honor to serve and to protect. Our teachers are called and committed to making daily differences for our kids. We work hard in good jobs and we play hard in some of the best recreational facilities in the world. Yes, Clarksville IS America’s best place to live, work, and raise our families because we think quality of life is a worthy goal
Transparency and Openness
Kim believes government – the people’s business – should be conducted in the full light of day – without secrets and deals made with a slap on the back and confirmed with a sly wink and a nod. Yes, Clarksville IS America’s best place to live, work, and raise our families because we expect honor and decency from our leaders.
Kim is committed to making Clarksville the best military host community in the nation. It’s a point of great pride that thousands of military men and women come to our community to serve and then choose to stay in Clarksville to live. Why – because they quickly learn what you and I know – Clarksville IS America’s best place to live, work, and raise our families.
